Introducing Kelsey

Nice to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Kelsey and I am the new UK Country Manager here at Atelier Rosemood in Nantes, France. I figured since you’ll be hearing from me quite a bit that it would be nice to put a face (and perhaps a few anecdotes) to a name!

Hello there!

My name is Kelsey and I am the new UK Country Manager here at Atelier Rosemood in Nantes, France. I figured since you’ll be hearing from me quite a bit that it would be nice to put a face (and perhaps a few anecdotes) to a name!

You may have already guessed (as Kelsey is not the most typically French name) that I’m not from here. I’m not French and I’m actually not British either, although I might consider myself slightly more British than French as I did grow up in New England. Identity crisis aside though, I’ve landed here in Nantes, in this lovely company, Atelier Rosemood. If you’re curious to know more about Rosemood you can click here (I promise I won’t hold it against you that you clicked away from my riveting life story) otherwise I’ll just continue on about myself!

For starters, I have always been a square peg in a round hole type of girl, from coming home from school one day thrilled to announce to my parents that I had chosen to play the tuba in the band to spending my last year of High School as an exchange student in France. That’s actually how I ended up over here, I fell in love with a charming French boy, a match made in heaven as they say. Fast forward about ten years (and more than a couple of trips across the Atlantic) and my family is now praying that a Rosemood Save The Date from the two of us might show up at their front door (don’t hold your breath, Mom).

I found another great match here with Rosemood as I have always been a real sucker for all things stationery and paper products. For example, this past year I spent an embarrassing amount of time cutting out over 300 little paper triangles to make the perfect birthday party decoration. (A little pro tip: if you, like myself, live in a rainy region, perhaps consider hanging this sort of time-consuming decoration indoors as to avoid the crushing pain of watching it turn into a time-consuming pile of sludge at the first stray shower.) I love the tangibility of stationery and how beautifully a printed card or invitation can represent some of the most important events in each of our lives. I am truly thrilled to have joined Rosemood in this mission to launch in the UK and can’t wait to bring our carefully crafted, personalised stationery over the channel to you!

I won’t take anymore of your time but if you have any questions about Rosemood’s launch in the UK (or about my short-lived career as a tuba-player) please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email at hello@rosemood.co.uk!
