A few weeks ago, we interviewed our creative design team who unveiled the latest wedding trends that have gotten our creative juices flowing here at Rosemood. Read on to discover the trends behind our new wedding stationery collection.
Wedding Trend 2019: Baroque
Baroque style is back on the wedding scene with its deep colours and bold contrasts, defined by an overall sense of grandeur and exuberance. Imagine Venetian villas and Italian Frescoes, as your wedding decorations wow your guests with an abundance of flowers, candlesticks and gilded detail. This baroque style is perfect for castle or manor house wedding venues with dark wood panelling and lavish chandeliers. Gold will sit at the heart of this opulent trend, so set the tone for your baroque wedding with our luxurious foil wedding invitations, which bring the new floral illustrations of the talented designers Mr & Mrs Clynk and Sophie Rivière to life.
Wedding Trend 2019: Single Colour
Whilst wedding colour palettes are usually about finding a combination of complementary colours, 2019 will see a rise in brides and grooms choosing different hues of one single colour. Sticking to a single colour creates intensity and impact, with the varying shades giving depth to your wedding décor. Your wedding decorations will, therefore, become a play on individual forms, whilst single colour floral arrangements will allow you to emphasise the beauty of each individual flower. This emerging trend has given rise to our beautiful “Whisper” wedding invitations, which can be personalised to match your wedding colours. The colour of many of our designs can be changed on request so do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your colour scheme!
Wedding Trend 2019: Minimalist
Less is going to be more in 2019! Minimalist weddings are all about simple elegance and allow your big day to focus on just a few meaningful details important to you and your fiancé(e). Think neutral wedding colour palettes, clean lines and simple designs suited to a modern industrial space or even a rustic wedding venue with lots of greenery. The talented designer Tomoë has embraced this new trend for her upcoming wedding stationery collection with her graphic typography surrounded by an abstract design in our luxurious metallic foiling. With minimal décor, your wedding stationery will become an integral part of your wedding tablescape and is thus key to pulling off your no-fuss theme.
